Four suspects accused of stealing jewellery worth R3 million plus on Sunday this week have appeared briefly in the Humansdorp Magistrates’ Court.
Bongani Radebe, Siphele Sithole, Ayanda Mbangaza and Mfana Fikile Mnyaka face charges relating to the business robbery at Gabriël Jewellers at Fountains Mall in Jeffreys Bay in the Eastern Cape. See article here.
The case was postponed to 11 August 2026 for further investigation and formal bail applications. The accused are being held in custody at St Albans Correctional Centre. The SAPS are still investigating.
