Couple tied up, husband stabbed in St Francis Bay home

A St Francis Bay couple were traumatised in the early hours this morning when they were attacked in their  home.

They were allegedly tied up and the husband was also allegedly stabbed in the leg by an assailant who made off with a cell phone, bank cards plus cash

According to police information from Uitenhage corporate communications, the couple were still awake at 12.10 am when an unknown man entered the house through a sliding door in the bedroom. The suspect had lifted the door off its tracks and entered the Santareme house..

The 42 year-old woman was in the bedroom and ran to get her husband.  Her husband was allegedly stabbed at the back of his left leg. The couple were then  allegedly tied up with ties while the intruder stole a cell phone, bank cards, some cash and other shopping cards.

The injured husband was taken to Livingstone Hospital where he is reported to be in a stable condition. No arrests have been made and police are investigating a case of armed robbery and house break-in.

Man stabbed to death in Oyster Bay

A man was stabbed to death in a brawl in a tavern in Oyster Bay township last night.  According to the SAP,  the two men were arguing when one of the men drew a knife and killed the other.  He was later arrested. No names have been released at this stage.

    1. They will live with the trauma, because of a community that has become layed back, thinking it can never happen to themselves, until they wake up one day to find that they are now the victims of the conquering criminals.
