-Edited- Yesterday, 9 September, at 10.30 am the SAPS found a suspect wanted in connection with an alleged murder of a Cradock man.
The suspect was found hiding in the bushes on a farm outside Hofmeyr.
The murder occurred on 30 August and few details have been released.
The deceased man was named as Matthys Van Niekerk,aged 65, whose body was found with stab wounds on farm near route R390 outside Cradock. The public was asked for information to help find a suspect.
The suspect is due to appear in the Cradock magistrate’s court on 11 September on acharge of murder.
