The pothole team has completed potholes repairs Palamos Road in Santareme and will start on Lyme Road North and South.
According to Nigel Aitken the supervisor for the municipal pothole repair project, it is the intention to ensure that the Council provides money in this year’s budget to have Lyme Rd re-surfaced as it is too bad to continue repairing potholes as they occur.
Aitken, who heads up the roads and general infrastructure portfolio for the St Francis Bay Residents’ Association, points out that the ‘no right turn’ in St Francis Drive (up the ramp to the Post Office) has now been removed.
“The solid white line will be painted out soon. I am sure residents will be happy with this action,” Aitken says.
