SFB Residents Association update

Update on Tom Brown Boulevard – Much of Tom Brown Boulevard has been slurried and the road is looking much better.  The other work being conducted by an outside contractor from the funds received from the Disaster Relief Fund is the repair work to the badly damaged areas from the flood late last year, is nearing completion.

The SFBRA (St Francis Bay Residents’ Association) has been advised by council that the intention is to complete slurrying the full length of Tom Brown Boulevard, after which they will start slurrying St Francis Drive.

The Residents Association has asked John Hanley to dig up the bad dip in the road on St Francis Drive, close to the municipal yard, as the council TLB is broken.  John will do this in conjunction with council who will then put a temporary fill and roll it.  Currently council has no tar but once they receive more, this area will be re-tarred.

The SFBRA has asked for quotes from a number of gardening services in St Francis Bay to cut the verges in Santareme, especially at intersections where the grass is so long it affects visibility when driving.

The SFBRA has launched its own Facebook page.  The URL for the page is https://www.facebook.com/pages/St-Francis-Bay-Residents-Association/155577304601202.  Please go and have a look and give us a ‘Like’.  Your comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

Many thanks to all of those people who have phoned our offices with praise for a job well done in pruning the palm trees in St Francis Drive.

Please diarise – THE SFBRA WILL BE HOLDING THEIR EASTER PUBLIC REPORT BACK MEETING ON THURSDAY 4TH APRIL AT 17H30 AT THE LINKS
