The temporary bridge is closed for cars but pedestrians can make use of it.
Municipal officials are on site monitoring the situation. Kindly note that the R330 falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Roads and Transport – they are, therefore, in charge of the temporary bridge.
The municipality has been in contact with the Department to discuss the way forward.
