Red Cap to grade Oyster Bay Road

Red Cap wind farm developer will grade part of the Oyster Bay the entire stretch of road to its new Red Cap Kouga Wind Farm site and bear the cost of this.

This is according to the St Francis Bay Residents Association (SFBRA) that said in a statement today, 13 June, an agreement has been reached between Red Cap and the Provincial Roads Authority for the grading and repairing of the Oyster Bay Road. The cost of this will be borne by Red Cap and it is its intention to grade the entire road through to its site.

“Red Cap’s contribution is appreciated by all,” the SFBRA says. “Some residents of this road have also indicated a significant improvement in the speed that Red Cap trucks travel at.  Unfortunately we have no control over the other vehicles and trucks that use this road.”
