The Paradise Beach causeway is still closed to drivers and pedestrians while repairs and an upgrade are being effected.
There have been reports , the Kouga Municipality says, that motorists are removing barriers and crossing the causeway.
Motorists are urged not to remove the barriers and not to cross the bridge as it unsafe.
The municipality warns that anyone who defies the closure and crosses the causeway does so at their own risk.
