The temporary Sand River will be re-surfaced on 3 December.
This is because Provincial authorities have decided to lay a proper tarred surface using a special machine used on motorways.
The bridge will be closed while this is being done from 8 am – 5 pm when the tarring should have ebeen completed. All people wishing to leave or enter St Francis Bay on Monday morning will have to do so prior tbefore or after these hours.
Businesses need to advise suppliers and staff. Also residents who read this should advise one another.
Some form of temporary pedestrian crossing will be provided. For more information please
