Motorists travelling from Port Elizabeth to the National Arts Festival are warned about a sinkhole 15 kms before Grahamstown.
An urgent notice about this sinkhole was relased this afternoon by the Principal Traffic Officer for Grahamstown.
All newspaers and radio stations are asked to advise motorists of this sinkhole. The traffic notice also advises:
Motorist should reduce speed from where the rumble strips are as they will soon get three speed humps on both sides.
There are ample warning signs on both sides of the sink hole and the detour.
