The woman who was found murdered on Saturday 20 April in Oyster Bay has been identified as Vanessa van Rensburg, SAPS Spokesperson Captain Marius McCarthy has revealed.
No other new details have been released by the SAPS since St Francis Chronicle broke the news yesterday. The SAPS are still investigating. . .
Repeat of our story from yesterday…. A 36 year-old PE woman was murdered at Oyster Bay on 20 April, the SAPS has said.
Upon arrival at the scene, members found a 36-year old female lying on the floor. She had bruises on her body and was declared dead on the scene by EMS.

The cause of death is unknown at this stage. “The investigation continues,” the SAPS said.
A friend of the woman reported that the woman had spent the Easter weekend in Oyster Bay.
