All motorists driving to Jeffreys Bay tomorrow morning (12 September 2012) from St Francis Bay have been asked to give lifts to those residents in Sea Vista who have no transport.
St Francis Chronicle has heard that there are scores of people in the squatter camp that would like to march to complain about no storm water drainage, inadequate sewerage removal, lack of toilets and flooding of their homes and roads. But they have no transport and there is only one 32-seater bus available to transport marchers – and it’s a case of first come first serve.
If anyone can offer lifts, please go to God’s Acre buildings next to the Sea Vista taxi rank at the top end of Tarragona Road.
The SFBRA (St Francis Bay Residents’ Association) says that everyone will meet at 9.30 am at the beach front (Diaz) Road) in Jeffreys Bay and then start to march to the municipal offices in Da Gam Road at 10 am.
