Police from SAP stations within the Uitenhage Cluster have arrested more than 67 suspects in the past three days.
The arrests, from 20-23 March, range from murder, sexual assault, assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm, theft, driving under the influence of liquor, and illegal possession of drugs, etc.
The arrests form part of operation ‘Paseka’ and the members of this cluster will continue with their efforts to effectively fight crime in their respective station areas, according to Warrant Officer, Gerda Swart of the Uitenhage SAP Corporate Communications.
