Richards Bay Police confirmed to NSRI Richards Bay this morning that during a beach patrol the body of the man who went missing in the rip current at St Lucia Beach yesterday was found washed up on the beach.
The body was handed to Forensic Pathology Services.
The search for the man who went missing yesterday (7 January 2013) in the surf 80 km North East of Richards Bay continued at first light this morning. KZN Wildlife Rangers and Police together conducted a beach patrol for the 22 year-old local man who was swept out to sea by rip-currents.
