Big sea swells, storm conditions, strong gale force winds, rain, possibly snow and floods are expected as the Western and Eastern Cape brace for an icy cold front.
The NSRI has warned boaters, paddlers, bathers and anglers to be cautious around the sea and coastline, plus on inland water ways following numerous weather and flood predictions posted by the SA Weather Service and Disaster Risk Management Operations
A cold front is expected from this evening.
The public is advised to heed weather warnings posted by weather stations and to take the necessary safety precautions.
