Kouga Municpality says it is experiencing some problems with a transformer in Humansdorp. Electricians are busy with repairs.
It is mainly the CBD area that’s affected.
The following streets will be without power this morning while repairs are being done: Matt Melville and the surrounding industrial area, and sections of Queen Street, Piet Uys Street and King Street. The “arcade” in Main Street will also be without power.
The remainder of the CBD will have limited power. These business owners are asked to use power sparingly to prevent their electricity from tripping. The municipality expects the power supply to be restored fully by 1 pm today.
