Highlights of Women’s Day trail walk and run

More than 100 people participated in the Enid Pretorius Properties trail walk and run to Cape St Francis lighthouse and back.

Some managed the full distance of 30 kms, others completed more than half the route, stopping at the lighthouse after a distance of 19 kms.

By all accounts it was a most successful event.

The route took participants through St Francis Bay Golf Course and the St Francis Links towards The Dunes Private Nature Reserve.  From there the road led to Mosterts Hoek and along The Wild Side and Cape St Francis lighthouse.  The next stretch was along the beach towards Shark Point, then back to Port St Francis and the Two Harbours Walk, towards  Granny’s Pool, then through the streets back to the Village Centre.

Here are some photo highlights of the event.  Photos: Lyn Aitken

Adding glamour to the event were the Bunny Ladies, Sonja Schreiber and Sonja Geldenhuys.
