The Gamtoos Irrigation Board expects to finish up repairs to the canal pipeline tomorrow morning, so Hankey’s water should be fine to drink again by tomorrow (Tuesday) noon.
Till then, residents are reminded to boil their water before drinking it. Tankers have also been delivering water to the town throughout the weekend and today.
