In a fantastic gesture Duca Del Cosma owners, in collaboration with the Sunshine Tour, gave 88 pairs of shoes to the golfers in the Pro Am tournament on Wednesday this week held at St Francis Links Golf Estate in St Francis Bay, during the current SDC Championship there.
The Duca golf shoes are part of the Duca Del Cosma line of Italian golf shoes and clothing , owned by Frank and Caroline van Wezel. This was part of special deal with the Sunshine Tour that paid a great discounted price for the shoes to enable the gift to golfers.
The enterprising pair are great lovers of golf and even sponsor top golf players . They are currently sponsoring a South African golfer, Toto Thimba Jnr , who is playing in the SDC wearing his Duca golf shoes.
The pair, who live in Holland and travel widely to international golf events, are in South Africa again this year to watch their golfers play at the SDC Championships at St Francis Links . Their shoes and clothing are available at the St Francis Links Pro Golf Shop.
