23 January – Save the Rhino talk
Warren Manser from the Chipembere Rhino Foundation will be the guest speaker at the “Friends of the Heritage Centre” January meeting.
Warren will be speaking on the plight of the rhino and the work being done by the Chipembere Rhino Foundation to help preserve these magnificent animals.
Time: 2.30 pm. Place: Heritage Centre ( Granny’s Pool)

There will be a donation box available should you wish to contribute towards saving the rhinos.

The St Francis Links Junior Open is the first of a series of junior provincial events being held around the province for the Junior order of merit, it has points rankings for the junior team that will represent the province in their respected age groups at the inter prov tournaments in 2013.

The Eastern Province Championships is a 36 hole medal event on the 26th January with the top 48 players qualifying for the Eastern Province Match Play championships starting on the 27th January and following on on the 3rd and 4th Feb. It is a provincial event for order of merit points and team selection points

The Member-Member event is the first of our flagship events in the year and a chance to get your name on the honors board and engraved on the trophy. It is a modified better ball event where members pick another member to be their partner. The event is held over two days the Saturday and Sunday with a welcome cocktail party on the Friday evening where the modified format is released and explained and where all the players can get to meet each other.
