The St Francis Kromme Trust held a fascinating and interesting talk on whales and other marine creatures earlier this week.
The talk at the Heritage Centre was organised by Sam and Rob Bester of St Francis Bay.
Lloyd enlightened the audience on the magnificent creatures that inhabit the marine environment of Algoa and St Francis Bay. He covered some of the research that is being carried out and stressed man’s role in preserving these creatures and their environment.
His talk, illustrated with outstanding photographs, was informative and delivered with a delightful sense of humour.
A beautifully illustrated book and calendars sporting Lloyd’s photographs were available for sale with the proceeds going towards marine conservation.
