September is Tourism month and St Francis Tourism is celebrating by enticing everyone to enter its “Let’s do it!” competition.
By participating in or completing at least 10 local activities this month of September 2012, you may just win yourself a big accommodation prize!
The local Tourism body has come up with a list of activities that can be done locally – some of them you may have done before, others you may never have tried. But now is the chance to have a go and “Just do it!”
The grand prize is a 1 night stay for 2 people at Hills Nek Safaris worth R7 000. The prize includes lunch on arrival, dinner, breakfast as well as all drinks and 2 game drives!
The list is available from the Tourism Office at Tennant Centre in St Francis Drive.
Says Warren Manser, Tourism Officer for St Francis: “We all have a bucket list, something we have always wanted to do, or still want to do, and now is the time!”
From surfing and fishing to a picnic or high tea, a photographic competition or frog safari – the field of choices is wide open for all residents to enter this month.
Rules:
You have to document (take photos) of the 10 things you have chosen to do and email all in low resolution and in one email to info@stfrancistourism.co.za.
Activities must be completed this month of September 2012. Closing date for entries is Monday 6 October 2012. Ensure your name and contact number is included in the email.
For more information, phone Warren Manser on 083 305 1718 or Esti Stewart on 073 825 0835.
A random winner will be drawn from all complete entries and winners names will be published in the local media.
Tourism’s local suppliers have agreed to a special rate during Tourism month.
