Crafters in the Eastern Cape have been given a great opportunity to market and sell their handmade crafts at artEC (EPSAC, Community art Centre).
The centre is currently embracing and paying tribute to the crafters of the Eastern Cape by hosting an exhibition of high quality handmade crafts. All EC crafters areencouraged to submit 3 handmade works of high quality, for selection.
The centre is looking for original and handmade beadwork, clothing, quilting, ceramics, jewelry, wirework, weaving, basket wear, useable recycled objects, furniture etc.
Submissions need to be delivered to the Artec Gallery, in Bird St Central on Saturday 1t October between 10 am and 12 noon, or on Tuesday 4 October and Wednesday 5 October between 10 am and 3 pm.
The handworks will be on display and sale on the Anything But Painting Exhibition at the artEC Gallery from the 11-21 October 2011.
