Round 3 of the Billabong Pro at Supertubes, Jeffreys Bay, Event No. 4 of 11 on the 2011 ASP World Title season, will restart this morning at 7.15 am in consistent four-to-six foot (1.5 metre) surf.
Event organisers and the 34 contestants have been greeted with excellent conditions this morning. “It’s been a lengthy wait but we’re excited to have such good surf on offer today and will be making the most of it,” Rich Porta, ASP International Head Judge, says. “We’ll start this morning at with Round 3, 30-minute heats and put Rounds 4 and 5 on standby. Good luck to all our competitors today.”
Up first this morning will be Jeremy Flores (FRA), 23, against Daniel Ross (AUS), 28, in Heat 1 of Round 3.
