An arrest of a juvenile who allegedly stabbed a Humansdorp pupil to death is imminent.

This is according to the Humansdorp SAPS that says police are investigating the murder of 16 year-old Kunathi Noma, who was brutally and fatally stabbed by a  suspect with a sharp object on 23 October at 11 am at Lungiso High School in Kwanozamo, Humansdorp, in the Eastern Cape of South Africa..

“The suspect in this case is known, SAPS Captain Marius McCarthy says. “Witnesses’ statements link the suspect with the offence. The juvenile suspect is currently under psychological supervision. His arrest is imminent and the investigation is continuing.”

The SAPS report says before police arrived the school following reports of a fight there, Kunathi was rushed to hospital in a private vehicle but he was declared dead on arrival.
