Alleged acts vandalism and sabotage have occurred in St Francis areas with poles pulled down or sawed through as these photos show.
Unknown or named unnamed persons have left notes that are apparently demanding electricity.
And these acts of apparent sabotage have led to several power cuts, up to two hours or more and residents are irate. Plus there is wide spread anger and confusion prevalent in St Francis right now.
St Francis Chronicle has been following the acts of alleged sabotage and noted all the power cuts recently. We have been waiting to get m SAPS report from SAPS H/O in the Eastern Cape as the local SAPS are not allowed to comment. St Francis Chronicle is expecting a press release today.
