Fairy Tale wedding at the Rose Farm Barn

An extremely windy day did not affect the joy and charm of a fairy tale wedding at the Rose Farm.

The delightful venue in the Barn at the Rose Farm

The bridesmaids and groomsmen all helped decorate The Rose Farm Barn that has been turned into a delightful wedding venue by owner, Sandra Lotter.  The theme for this wedding was ‘vintage carnival’ with lots of bunting and fairy lights and candles.

Sandra Lotter’s beautiful ‘old’ roses in pastel shades finished off the table settings.  The attention to detail included hand dyed doilies between the dinner plates, ribbons tying the cutlery together and even a bride, groom and dog moulded out of sugar for the cake topping!

The couple have a beloved Jack Russell, Oscar, that also attended the ceremony wearing a bowtie made by the bride.

During ‘cocktail hour’ the guests helped themselves to ice creams and popcorn. Aqua Catering did a superb job of preparing and serving the most delicious food for the evening.

Anyone wishing to hold their wedding at this delightful venue, the Rose Farm, near St Francis Bay, please contact Sandra Lotter on 082 327 2335.

Tessa Suckling, mother of the bride, comments: “The best thing of all was being able to invite 120 people to St Francis Bay  and show them what we are capable of doing!  This area is truly a wonderful wedding destination.”
