Josh Chipps, a surfer from St Francis Bay, made it into the semi finals in the Hurley SA Junior Champs in Durban last week.
The Eastern Province Team were awarded 3rd place.
His proud mother, Bev, thanks the coaches Graham and Shannon for the success of the Durban event.
