Jason Hartman, 2009 SA Idol winner, and Dave Estment, ex-professional superbike racer, professional wildlife photographer and videographer, cruised right into Woodridge College and Preparatory School hall recently to raise awareness about the plight of the Rhino.

They were well received. Jason spoke with passion about making a difference for the embattled rhino and about his Rock ’N Ride 4 Rhino project. He also entertained pupils with a number of songs from his ‘All or Nothing’ album.

Rock ’N Ride 4 Rhino is an ambitious conservation project that entails an epic motorcycle adventure around Southern Africa. It was conceived by passionate conservationists, Jason, who is also the founding director of Men of the Trees SA, and Dave, the founding trustee of the Wild Imaging Trust, in partnership with Damien Mander, founding director of the International Anti-Poaching Foundation.
Jason and Dave are travelling over 10 000km on motorbikes around South Africa visiting schools and high lighting the dire situation of the rhino.
