The 4th annual Quadrathlon for St Francis Bay will take off on 5 November at the small boat harbour on the St Francis canals.
Participants in the SuperSpar Pam Golding Quadrathlon include professionals, the not-so-fit, adults and juniors. “Organisers are anticipating more youngsters and families to join in the fun,” says Richard Arderne of Pam Golding Properties, St Francis Bay.

Individual and teams can enter in the following age categories: under 11, under 14, under 18, ladies, Open or a family team.
The event includes paddling through the canals (3 km), cycling through St Francis Bay (12 km), swimming in the canals (600m) and running through Sunset Drive and Canal Road (5 km).
All four legs start and finish at the small harbour. While the main quadrathlon takes place, there will be a special duathlon for the under 9s, which includes a run and cycle at the Big Time Taverne cul de sac.

At prize giving at 4 pm there will be gold silver and bronze medals for those placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively, plus there will be a medal for all participants who finish their race.
Sport equipment and food and drinks will be on sale and there will be some live music.
Part of the proceeds will go towards Disney Creche in Sea Vista.
